Central Market Surveillance Inspectorate: Successful Action Against Unauthorized Economic Operators

Two petrol stations in Zveçan and Leposaviq have been temporarily closed by the Central Market Surveillance Inspectorate after unauthorized operation of the retail sale of petroleum products was discovered.

This action was successfully carried out by the Central Market Surveillance Inspectorate, in close cooperation with the Kosovo Police, Kosovo Customs, Tax Administration of Kosovo, and the Privatization Agency of Kosovo.

 

The main focus of this operation was to verify relevant documentation to ensure that every economic operator is in compliance with the applicable rules and laws.

**Attention! ** All entities involved in the trading of petroleum products and renewable fuels must obtain a valid permit from the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade to conduct their activities within the territory of the Republic of Kosovo. Those found operating in violation of the law will be subject to strict punitive measures in accordance with current legislation.

The Central Market Surveillance Inspectorate will continue conducting inspections in the upcoming days.
