Minister Hajdari participated in the opening ceremony of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce in Prishtina

Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Ms. Rozeta Hajdari, jointly with the Prime Minister of the country Mr. Albin Kurti, participated in the opening ceremony of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce in Prishtina

Minister Hajdari congratulated the founding members of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce, emphasizing that the trade exchange between Kosovo and the Nordic countries has great growth potential. She stated that the operationalization of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo and its advocacy in the northern countries of the European continent will impact the increase of confidence in the Republic of Kosovo as a state with quite real competitive opportunities, and the increase of investments from the Nordic countries as well to acquire knowledge and obtain advanced technology from them for a faster economic transformation of our country.

Minister Hajdari informed the attendees of the policies, laws and the great potential of the private sector with hardworking entrepreneurs expressing the vision for the transformation of the country's industry into a more globally integrated industry by 2030 that can produce value-added products and provide decent employment.

In addition, the Minister announced the signing of an agreement for the participation of Kosovo in the EU “Common Market” Program for 2021-2027, which encourages the cooperation of local and international businesses for increased competitiveness and development of industrial value chains for integration in the international market.

The opening ceremony of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce was attended by the Ambassador of Finland to Kosovo, Matti Nissinen, the Ambassador of Sweden to Kosovo, Jonas Westerlund, the Ambassador of Norway to Kosovo, Jens Grøndahl, the Director of the Board of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce, Afërdita Pllana-Ibrahimi and representatives of local and Nordic businesses, including also successful young people from our diaspora.
