MINT held the workshop "Technical Legal Framework for Electrical and Electronic Equipment"

During the course of the meeting, the main obligations of economic operators were discussed, which arise from the technical legal framework that covers electrical and electronic equipment, and the readiness of quality infrastructure and market surveillance institutions.

Deputy Minister Mentor Arifaj, said that the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade in the Process of Stabilization and Association, in its path towards European integration, is committed to the full functionalization of the Quality Infrastructure and the strengthening of all its components.

Mr. Arifaj also expressed the highest considerations for the continuous and very important assistance that the European Union has provided in all areas for strengthening the institutions of our country and of the private sector.

Given that Kosovo has fulfilled its obligations regarding the harmonization of legislation with the EU for electrical and electronic equipment, we remain committed to the full implementation of this legislation, added Deputy Minister Mentor Arifaj.
