Minister Hajdari Welcomed New Head of EU Office Mr. Aivo Orav

The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Mrs. Rozeta Hajdari, received the new head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Mr. Aivo Orav, wishing the Ambassador success in his mandate.
During the conversation, Minister Hajdari reiterated Kosovo's steadfast commitment to integration into the European Union, emphasizing the important reforms implemented by the Government so far, including the harmonization of legislation with that of the EU.
The Minister informed the Ambassador that her Ministry has adopted within its mandate sector policies aimed at private sector development, as well as 21 laws and 49 bylaws to improve the environment of doing business, all of which are in line with strategic priorities and EU directives.
Ambassador Orav congratulated the Minister for the progress achieved in the processes led by the MIET, including the conclusion of the negotiations for the trade agreement with the EFTA member countries, as well as the approval of the decision to change the rules of procedure in the CEFTA regarding the departure of UNMIK and the representation of Kosovo by its institutions in the CEFTA.
The discussion also included a number of agreements approved at the last meeting of the CEFTA Joint Committee, which are important for the implementation of the Common Regional Market.
