Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Hajdari visited the company 'Mercom'

During the visit, they were warmly welcomed by the owner of this company, Mr. Arif Elshani, the director Mr. Robert Gegaj and the team, where they had the opportunity to get to know the work, production capacities and innovative potential of this company.

Minister Hajdari highlighted that Mercom is one of the businesses that have demonstrated sustainability and proven impact with the growth of innovative projects. With a history of over 30 years in the market, this company operates in several sectors, including construction, the production of wooden doors and windows, the production of high-pressure laminate (HPL), the application of state-of-the-art ventilated facades and automotive.

Businesses such as this one have gained the support of the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade through the KIESA agency's programmes to support SMEs in increasing competitiveness through innovation and support programmes for participation in international fairs, presenting with dignity the production potential of Kosovo with valuable products for the international market.
