The Acting Minister of the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Ms. Rozeta Hajdari participates in the opening of the 24th edition of the "EXPOKOS 2025" fair

This fair, organised by the CEO company, this year brought together very successful companies from Kosovo, Austria, Germany, France, Albania, Greece, North Macedonia, and other countries. These companies aim to grow, collaborate, and present technological innovations from the latest developments in the industry.

In her speech, Minister Hajdari emphasized the support of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to local enterprises, aiming at economic diversification through the expansion of industrial production towards activities with higher added value, improving competitiveness, unleashing innovative capacity and accelerating digital transformation in local industry, which results in increased export potential, improved trade balance and increased national income.

During this governing mandate, the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade (MIET) has increased financial support to private sector enterprises in Kosovo manifold.

On May 5, 2025, MIET, through the KIESA agency, launched the next public call, through the e-Kosova platform, for financial support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the amount of 5 million euros, for the purchase of advanced manufacturing and processing machinery, with the aim of expanding manufacturing and processing capacities and increasing their competitiveness, with valuable products for the international market.

In contrast, in 2021, the grant scheme for the purchase of advanced manufacturing and processing machinery was offered only in the amount of 0.5 million euros.

 The deadline for submitting the application and supporting documents is May 26, 2025.
