The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Albin Kurti and the Minister of MIET, Mrs. Rozeta Hajdari, at the opening of the fair AGROKOS & AGRITOURISM 2025

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Albin Kurti with the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Mrs. Rozeta Hajdari, marked the opening of the 25th edition of the fair AGROKOS & AGRO-TOURISM 2025, organized by the CEO company and with financial support in the amount of 26,000 euros from the Agency for Investment and Enterprise Support (KIESA), within the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade.

During these days 27 – 28 May, dozens of businesses from Kosovo and the region are participating in this fair, which aim at growth through cooperation, presentation of valuable products and technological innovations from the latest developments in the food processing industry, beverage production, as well as in the wider sector of the hospitality industry - accommodation and gastronomy services.

Recognizing the dedicated work and success of domestic entrepreneurs, during this governing mandate, the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, under the leadership of Minister Hajdari, has brought sound policies for the development of industry, bold reforms for a healthy environment for doing fair and competitive business and multiplied financial support for local businesses.

The support from KIESA agency, during the last three years, enabled the participation of about 500 businesses in promoting local products in 54 international fairs, of which 33 were food and beverage industry fairs,' emphasized Minister Hajdari.

In her speech, Minister Hajdari stressed that creating links between investors and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and start-up enterprises with a lot of untapped potential and many creative ideas, waiting to become a reality, is an investment for the bright future of Kosovo"

Minister Hajdari encouraged all local entrepreneurs to participate in as many local and international fairs as possible, to establish links with businesses and investors from the diaspora and abroad, as an effective way to strengthen competitive skills, transfer innovation in the production of valuable local products and accelerate their integration into international value chains.
