Another Success: Growth of Sustainable German Investments from Bavaria in Kosovo

Acting Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Ms. Rozeta Hajdari, together with her advisor, Ms. Rina Zeneli and the Acting Director of KIESA, Mr. Zef Dedaj, welcomed Mr. Michael Wolf, owner of the German company Wolf Bavaria GmbH, accompanied by his diaspora associates: Mr. Blerim Dervari, Mr. Labinot Thaqi, and Mr. Dionis Dujaka.
Wolf Bavaria GmbH, based in Heilsbronn, Germany, has been a prominent name since 2004 in the development and sale of innovative solutions in dry construction (Trockenbau), sound insulation, and underfloor heating. The company employs over 100 people worldwide and is recognised for its commitment to sustainable products, such as the "PhoneStar" sound insulation tiles, which are produced from natural materials and provide excellent insulation against airborne and impact noise. The foundation of Wolf Bavaria’s operations lies in the use of natural, sustainable, and locally sourced raw materials, as well as the development of demountable construction systems.
Mr. Michael Wolf presented the investment plan of over 10 million, for the start of Wolf Bavaria production in Kosovo, as a strategic location selected to increase the credibility for sustainable and responsible investments, to reduce the cost of raw materials for production by 30%, as well as to increase exports from the local market to Europe, America, Canada, Japan and New Zealand.
By 2027, Wolf Bavaria is expected to employ 200 workers in Kosovo, by German standards.
Mr. Michael Wolf was informed about the potential and advantages of investing in Kosovo, along with the progress made in reforms that foster fair and competitive business practices and promote and protect sustainable and responsible investments in our country.
Mr. Wolf, accompanied by KIESA/MIET officials, continued to visit the industrial parks now in operation for use by local and international investors.
Minister Hajdari expressed gratitude and thanks to our diaspora in Germany for their continued commitment to creating business connections and bringing knowledge and financial investments to our country's industry.
