Minister Hajdari participated in the Meeting of the Joint Committee of CEFTA, in Pristina, chaired by Kosovo through MIET

As part of the CEFTA Week, under the theme ''We trade together, towards Europe'', the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade participated in the CEFTA Joint Committee Meeting in Pristina, chaired by Kosovo through MIET, and with the participation of all CEFTA Parties, as well as representatives from DG ENEST of the European Commission.

This CEFTA Joint Committee Meeting resulted in the approval of 4 important decisions to advance the facilitation of free trade in goods and services by ensuring that, with the appropriate resources and tools, customs administrations and institutions responsible for market surveillance are supported in improving security, increasing efficiency and facilitating legitimate trade, while minimizing risks.The decisions adopted today are as follows:

Decision 8/2025 of the Joint Committee of the Central European Free Trade Agreement, amending Decision 1/2025 on Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Recognition Programmes.

Decision 9/2025 of the Joint Committee of the Central European Free Trade Agreement, amending Decision 1/2015 on the establishment of CEFTA bodies;                          Decision 10/2025 of the Central European Free Trade Agreement Joint Committee on Digital Cooperation;                                                                                                         Recommendation 1/2025 of the Joint Committee of the Central European Free Trade Agreement on the CEFTA Customs Risk Management Strategy 2025-2028.

These decisions reaffirm our joint commitment to deepen regional economic integration and advance the Regional Common Market, towards integration into the Single Market of the European Union.

Minister Hajdari thanked all CEFTA Parties for their contribution and active participation in the implementation of the CEFTA Joint Committee Work Programme for 2025, chaired by Kosovo.“I welcome and express my gratitude for the messages conveyed by the European Commission regarding the mutual recognition of documents and agreements. As Chair of the CEFTA Joint Committee for 2025, I encourage the continuation of this mode of engagement, with the aim of making regional cooperation functional and accelerating integration into the European Union,” said Minister Hajdari.
