Minister Kusari-Lila and Minister Maqedonci discussed the concept document of the Draft Law on the Defense Industry

The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, received in a meeting the Minister of Defense, Ejup Magedonci, with whom she discussed the development of the defense industry and inter-institutional cooperation in this field.
During the meeting, the first session in this mandate was held with the working group of the two ministries, that of Defense and that of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation. Under the leadership of Minister Maqedonci, the concept document of the Draft Law on the Defense Industry was reviewed, including the structure and organization envisaged by this draft law.
The discussion addressed the main provisions of the draft, as well as the cross-sectoral scope of the defense industry, with the aim of creating a framework that enables sustainable development and institutional coordination.
The working group will continue its work in the coming days on the finalization of the concept document and the drafting of the draft law, in accordance with the priorities set for this mandate.
