Minister Kusari-Lila met with compatriots in Toronto, Canada, about investment opportunities in Kosovo

Minister of MIETI, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, during her visits and meetings with compatriots in Canada, emphasized that we concluded the visit to Toronto in the right way, with a very special meeting with our compatriots from the business community at the Consulate of the Republic of Kosovo in Canada.
She also said that together with business representatives from Kosovo, Albania and North Macedonia, we held an open discussion on investment opportunities in Kosovo and the increasingly important role that our diaspora can have in the country's economic development.
“We talked about the reforms that are being undertaken to improve the business environment to create more favorable conditions for investments and to build new bridges of cooperation between our businesses and those in the diaspora”, Minister Kusari-Lila said.
The Minister assessed that our diaspora in Canada and everywhere in the world remains one of the most important pillars of Kosovo's development. Additionally, their experience, international networks and capital are an extraordinary potential for new projects, strategic partnerships and for strengthening economic ties between our countries.
She said that she is grateful for the work and commitment of the Ambassador of Kosovo to Canada, Adriatik Kryeziu, the Consul General, Kadri Dakaj, as well as the entire staff of the Embassy of Kosovo in Ottawa and the Consulate in Toronto for their dedication in strengthening ties with our community in Canada.
Kusari-Lila expressed her pleasure, underlining that it is always a pleasure to meet compatriots who, with their work and success abroad, continue to remain closely connected to Kosovo and contribute to its future.
