Kusari-Lila in the Hague: Kosovo as a new and dynamic economy, with a clear orientation towards reforms, is making significant progress in improving the investment climate

Minister of MIETI, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, during her visit to The Hague, Netherlands, assessed this visit as successful, which will have an impact on strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.
She emphasized that together with the Ambassador of Kosovo to the Netherlands, Mr Dren Doli, the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Kosovo, Ms Caren Boven, as well as business representatives and investors, the "Kosovo Business Day" was successfully concluded - an important platform for strengthening economic cooperation between Kosovo and the Netherlands.
The Minister said that Kosovo, as a young and dynamic economy, with a clear orientation towards reforms, is making significant progress in improving the investment climate and strengthening our economic base, with the aim of a competitive, innovative and sustainable economy.
According to the Minister, foreign investments are increasing, while the ICT sector and the export of services are becoming important engines of development and employment.
She added that through digital transformation, the "Industrial Policy 2030" and the development of modern economic zones, we are creating better conditions for business and innovation, especially supporting women and young entrepreneurs.
Kusari-Lila announced that with the participation of Ms Kalina Vrieze, Mr Mark Verheul, Mr Valon Bahtiri, Mr Theo Schilder, Mr Martijn van Helvert, Mr Jelle Hoes, Ms Hana Qerimi, Mr Robert Shala, Mr Lennart Koestier, Mr Shpend Lila, Mr Diedon Kica, Ms Sytrime Dervisholli, Mr Erlind Gashi and Mr Artan Xhemajli, they jointly presented Kosovo's assets, the advantages of doing business and the reasons that make our country an attractive and favourable destination for investments.
The Minister also announced that the best news of the day is that the Kosovo-Netherlands Chamber of Commerce was founded in The Hague, which, according to her, is an important step towards strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries and creating new opportunities for our businesses.
She added that the establishment of this chamber will facilitate business procedures, promote investments and pave the way for new partnerships, assessing that it is an encouraging development for entrepreneurs, investors and the Kosovo economy in general.
The Minister concluded her speech by emphasizing that our message is clear, Kosovo is open for business and partnership and all interested businesses should visit Kosovo and become part of our shared stories and success.
