MIET has decided to suspend the business certificate of “KLAN KOSOVA” Business Organization

The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade has initiated a criminal report in the Department of Serious Crimes within the Police of the Republic of Kosovo against the Business Organization "KLAN KOSOVA" LLC, the responsible officials from the Kosovo Business Registration Agency and the responsible persons of the organization, under the suspicion of abuse of official duties, as well as abuse of economic authorizations.

Based on the legal acts, the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, namely the Kosovo Business Registration Agency, has also decided to suspend the business certificate of the Business Organization "KLAN KOSOVA" LLC, until further notice. The party, i.e. the owner of the Business Organization "KLAN KOSOVA" LLC, was invited to a meeting and notified about the decision of KBRA.

The media reports in the past couple of days about this issue have highlighted grounded suspicions about the possible abuse of the official position of the employees in the Kosovo Business Registration Agency, which operates within the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade. As a result, MIET has taken all the actions and has immediately taken measures to clarify the situation internally. According to the data disclosed by the entire registration process and then other sales transactions of the Business Organization "KLAN KOSOVA" LLC, there are serious suspicions of abuse of official duties by ARBK officials, but also suspicions of abuse of economic authorizations by responsible persons of the organization.

Therefore, in order to properly address the responsibilities, MIET has submitted a criminal report to the Department of Serious Crimes within the Police of the Republic of Kosovo, so that the truth about this matter can be proven in the court process and the potential abusers are brought before the justice bodies according to legal norms in force.

MINT expresses full confidence that the Department of Serious Crimes, within the Police of the Republic of Kosovo, will act promptly, efficiently and without hesitation and awaits with maximum attention for the actions of this report to be taken according to the relevant procedure.

Any action of the Serious Crimes Department, within the Police, in compliance with the law, is a response to abusers and persons responsible for undertaking actions in violation of legal provisions.
