Entrepreneurship Department
1. The mission of the Entrepreneurship Department is to advance policies and legislation in the field of entrepreneurship, micro, small and medium enterprises.
2. Duties and responsibilities of the Entrepreneurship Department are:
2.1. Proposes and drafts policies in the field of entrepreneurship, micro and small enterprises;
2.2. Proposes and drafts legislation in the field of entrepreneurship, micro and small enterprises;
2.3. Leads and coordinates policymaking activities for productive and service SMEs, in cooperation with implementing institutions;
2.4. Analyzes and proposes improvement measures in the field of MSMEs;
2.5. Leads and coordinates activities between public institutions and the business community to support MSMEs;
2.6. Proposes and implements projects in the field of MSMEs;
2.7. Drafts policies for the promotion of the private sector;
2.8. Proposes and drafts policies for the development of entrepreneurship;
2.9. Collaborates with relevant institutions in the development of MSME policies;
2.10. Monitors execution and implementation of entrepreneurship projects funded by the Ministry;
2.11. Collects, analyzes and reports the effects of investments in entrepreneurship projects by the Ministry;
2.12. Proposes, designs training programs that support the advancement and increase of competitiveness of micro, small and medium enterprises.
3. The Director of the Entrepreneurship Department reports to the Secretary General.
4. Within this Department are the folloing Divisions:
4.1. Division for drafting and developing MSME Policies; and
4.2. Monitoring and Evaluation Division.
5. The number of employees in the Entrepreneurship Department is ten (8).
