Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency (KIESA), which operates within the Ministry of Trade and Industry, in its scope of work has, among other things, promotion of investments. KIESA provides support to local and foreign investors in gathering information related to the field of investments that they intend to invest in Kosovo, in procedures of business registration, provision of information for the legislation that relates with Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), issuance of specific macro-economic information, and providing of necessary services for realization of their investments. 
Kosovo offers a suitable environment for doing business, such as young and motivated workforce, free market and access without customs duty to the EU market, taxes that are among the lowest in the region and simple procedures of doing business.
Ministry of Trade and Industry, consistently remains committed to undertake substantial activities to ease the environment of doing business and to support the development of private sector in Kosovo.
